A couple of weeks ago I never heard of James Cameron. At least if you asked me who he was I could not have told you.
I saw an interview with him a couple of weeks ago on the Charlie Rose show.
Then after the interview Charlie Rose had a couple of movie reviewers on to discuss his movie “Avatar.”
I forgot his name right away but I guess you could say I knew who he was.
Well I found the following on TMZ.
Here is what TMZ says about the video above:”James Cameron — the guy who directed "Avatar" — directed a few choice words at an autograph seeking fan last night — calling the guy a "f**king a**hole" during an argument over a signature.
It all went down at LAX — when James walked past a man holding an "Avatar" poster, and refused to sign. The man went back to Cameron and asked again to which James replied, "I don’t owe you a f**king signature … just get out of my f**king personal space."
That’s when the fan lost it and replied, "I’m an asshole because I ask someone I admire for their autograph that makes me an a**hole? I make $15-an-hour at work to go see your film and I’m an a**hole?"
Ultimately, James calmly walked away from the situation while the fan continued to yell at him.
But the real question…”
It sure looks like James Cameron is the fucking ass hole. We do not know what was going on in the life of James Cameron and I am sure fans after you all the time to sign things is a pain in the ass but … I think the question is …
Yes who is the fucking ass hole.

My husband collects autographs as a hobby. He’ll be the first to tell you that some people just are not comfortable with autograph seekers. Generally, the ones who take the time to request autographs are no different than papparazzi. Their intent is to sell the autograph, not just hang it on their wall for all to see. It IS an obstruction of personal space and privacy. If anyone says “No.” to a fan who wants an autograph, that doesn’t make him and asshole. It makes him a man with more on his mind than obliging a fan. I believe that a true fan would respect that.
I was sort of wondering about that… I can see if a person is just collecting something in order to sell it how the people might feel. In fact you might see, I guess, the same person a number of times.
So I should just keep my mouth shut about a subject that I do not know anything about.
I think if I was a star that I would sign everything for everyone but I might find it it did happen that I would change my mind fast and not want to sign anything.
